Charlestown, Massachusetts

A new commercial condominium project in Historic Thompson Square, included condominiums constructed above an existing retail store and townhouses over a new structured parking garage.  The building encompasses a blend of construction technologies from cast-in-place concrete at the parking garage and structural steel frame over the retail store to conventional wood framing for the townhouses above the parking deck.

Just a few blocks away from the Bunker Hill Monument, the building employs a variety of Federal Style design motifs in order to blend with the historic context of Charlestown.
