Simpson Gumpertz & Heger, renowned pioneers in structural engineering, charged Winter Street with developing a design to support their next generation of engineering excellence. To that end, we conducted a study focusing on their operation, organization and environment that best supports their activities.

SGH's embrace of the principal of "life long learning" led our design team to craft an academic type environment where the firm's history, library and research laboratory are prominently featured landmarks.

Work areas are organized to promote teamwork and cross fertilization of ideas across the departmental specialties. The new office is housed in a large volume, open truss, steel framed structure that formerly housed industrial processes.
