Ayer, Massachusetts

One of our latest fire station assignments, the Town of Ayer has asked Winter Street to design a state of the art, 16,500 square foot. $2.5 million headquarters station on a challenging downtown site.  The site challenges include dramatic grade changes, hazardous materials remediation, wetlands protection, and a failed intersection.

The program calls for accommodations for fire fighters of both genders, fire prevention and decontamination functions as well as a training area/gym, apparatus and Fire Department administration areas.
